Nice crisp looking tag. Nova gauges, January 1968 trans, March 1969 3.55 axle. Nothin' to worry about here.

You made me snort. Where can I get one of those fancy tire covers?
-
But William, it is displaying the "The Petersen Muscle Car Cruise-in Best-in-Show" trophy. That's the hook right there! :D
I haven't seen rivets with the centers missing that much. Nice looking car though for the untrained eye.

It's been around a couple of times. Here's one - http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=227674

Interesting, Kurt. It's sad in a way that now when I see a Z-28 at a show I automatically assume it is fake because there are so many, it seems.
Driving an AMC Pacer to a show draws more believers than a Z-28.

LOL Looks like I started a thread on this car a couple of years ago when I was new. Thought maybe it was a fake because of the BB heater core, I should have been more concerned about the 12A tag with an X code. Guess I've learned a thing or two...

I'm actually considering posting pictures of my car and asking the members to pick it apart. I learn more from these threads than anything else I read these days.

Yes! I want to buy a classic Camaro from a European car dealer! :) that makes sense!

Couldn't even get the fender emblems correct, ;D

Great post - very educational :)
At first glance - the car looks pretty nice...the number varaiances are unbelievable!
