Hello all…..I’m starting to reassemble the doors on my ‘67 and the Fisher Body manual talks about all of the different lubrication points for the window regulators, door hinges, etc…. The book refers to “Lubriplate” and “Dripless oil”…….a quick google search turned some rusty cans of original stuff available on eBay but that was about it.
1. Does anyone know where to get a modern part that has superseded
2. What does everyone use on these points if they aren’t using the factory stuff?
Regards
Tyler

For any spray aerosol, I use Harley Davidson Chain and cable lube. I've tried many, this is my go to.
For the more permanent grease item, I use Lucas White Lithium in the squeeze tube.
Remember to wipe off the excess.

^^Bingo: White Lithium in the squeeze tube, tub or aerosol.

Deep Creep. Especially for hinges. I've had Willie at Hood Hinge Repair rebuild dozens of door and hood hinges for many makes and models. It's what he recommends and states so on paper when you get your parts back.

Use the white lithium sparingly as a little goes a long way. Work it in before adding more of needed.
For the hood hinge lube, my friend had tried every lubricant on the market for his 72 W30 442. I sprayed it on a told him to be careful, because it will work or I'm buying the beer. The next phone call was that he thought he broke his front teeth and nose because he's so used to having to slam it shut, and he smashed his face from the momentum. He drew blood, but nothing could make him and uglier so no worries there. 😆😆

I’ve been using the real deal Lubriplate. Got a full gallon can years ago from work. Great stuff..
