Was the tilt steering column in 69 a stand alone option or was it part of a group option? Thanks
-
Was available individually however it may have been part of comfort & convenience group, I know of a convertible with remote mirror, tilt, and clock... I figured the combo was due to an option grouping.
-
Thanks James, I wasn’t sure one way or another.

I spent the entire year of 1969 'car shopping', and I don't recall a lot of 'groupings', other than 'light group', ie. convenience group. Was not nearly as much of the option grouping then as occurred in later years!

Tilt steering N34 was a stand alone option. There was no comfort & conv group option (Z19) like there was on other models. Although the price book calls for an Appearance Guard Group and an Operating Conv Group, these groups were never listed on window stickers and the like as packages. Each option within these groups would be listed separately on documents even if the car included all the items within the package.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate the information. Is there any idea as to how many 69 Camaros got the tilt steering column?
