Title: 69 Well liner installation
Post by: srode on August 13, 2011, 11:05:56 AM
Does the well liner for a 69 convertible go over or under the clamping frame that runs around the quarters and below the rear window?  With it below the clamping frame you can see the frame and fasteners.  Going over the frame it hides the frame and fasteners.

Thanks, Steve

The Fisher Body service manual has a detailed section on installing tops and how the pieces get layered.  Also if you go to the Team Camaro site forums they have a section for convertibles.  A topic search there will probably find you an answer as well.  Don't know off the top of my head, never attempted an installation.

I have a GM Chasis service manual for the Cheverolet, Chevelle, Camaro, Nova and Corvette - but not a fisher body Manual.  I'll see if it's be talked on team camaro in the mean time.

Guys - not sure if this is what you need, or even if it applies here. But if the information you need is in the Fisher Body Service Manual let me know which section/sections and I'll be happy to post the page/pages.
