Title: Z/28 stripes...pin stripes
Post by: DyRally-Z1986 on March 10, 2014, 10:34:33 AM
When I used the search bar I located one other topic about my question. The question being did the Z/28's come with pin stripes along with their regular stripes? What if it was a Rally/Z/28 does that change things in this case? My dad's car had both the z-stripes along with pin stripes and I thought it looked pretty good. Does anyone have a definitive answer. My cars build date was January/69 if that makes a difference.

I assume (hate doing that) you are referring to the stripes that where on the wheel lip eyebrows. This topic was discussed just this past week regarding Z/28s in this thread: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=11898.0  I know the topic started may throw you off, but at post #10 is where the stripes are addressed and JohnZ has an answer in post #17.

Only cars that I am aware of that came with the "Z" stripes and wheel well opening pinstripes were pace cars & Z10's..  Someone correct if I am wrong.
