I’m in the same boat as everyone else, well somewhat. Although the car is my dad’s it still holds a special place in my heart. As a kid growing up it was really the only thing that brought my stepfather and I together in my eyes. Working on the car with him was the best time ever. Annoying the hell out of him with questions left and right to the point I felt like a belt was going to be the next tool he picked up was what I lived for LOL. Starting from day one he taught me original is the way to go. At the old age of 29 🤪 I feel like I’m a kid again because every single morning I wake up checking the site is the first thing I do. Anything to learn and build my knowledge more and more makes my day. Even when I was in Iraq and Afghanistan I made it a point to check the site when those rare occasions came I could hop on a computer with internet access. I would give anything to find his block for him. Just like others have said, I believe many blocks are out there it’s just many don’t know what they have.

Ok cool I'll check it out and hopefully get one up in a few minutes. I've never been there he's had the car longer than I've been alive lol. I'm sure he knows exactly where your talking!

Not sure how to make the picture on my phone small enough to load up. He's back home in Pittsburgh and I'm getting ready to retire from the Army and move back. Once I get there I will try and get one on here but thanks for the greetings. It was painted when he bought it but over the years he's been slowly working on it. Working on two cars makes both go slow so he set that one aside for a while to focus on the other one.

Hey everyone! Just another story of tracking down the previous owner of my fathers 68 z28 bought in Winter Haven back in 1984. He was in the Navy when he bought it from a guy who blew up the original 302 and put a big block chevelle motor in hit. He had it at a drag strip often and my dad can't remember the guys name or how to track him down. I've read about all the issues about trying to track previous owners down through the DMV since 1994. Any advice or help would be great
VIN: 124378N429346

Thanks again,

Joe
