Well, you sparked my curiosity, and we're having a knock on wood slow day at the station. My down pipe #s show up in UPC NF2. UPC Z28, A2, exhaust refers to NF2, N61 w/o resonators. Scrolling through the pdf on my phone, soso reading specs, didnt find N61. Cars a late april build.

Thought the resonators entered mid to late 68.Noise issues. Chambered big block SS 68. Chambered option 69 Z's.

In any case, this was the take off  exhaust, by second owner in 69. Bought the car as a replacement for his Camaro, which was stolen at the track, Norwalk. Was in the stands and saw it being driven away. Still have the Hookers he hung on the car. Muffler still had a coat of undercoating goop, outer side, prior to clean up.

Fired it up day before yesterday, I was very surprised how loud it is. Pleasantly, low deep chop, out the rear. Little nervous, if  it sounded tame, it was coming off.

Long run, wayyy cheaper and easier to find an old war horse..

Flip side, would be pretty cool to modify what you have, those 327s scream to the stratosphere, and can be pretty cheaply done right. Glide,,,dragracer's go to trans,,when built.
All the "born with" drive train.

In the process, everyone appreciates pics during disassembly, any inspection markings you may encounter, and numbers. Whatever your path, always entertaining watching a new build taking place👍

Also checkout the yenko site, threads dedicated to day2 builds with some good facebook group links.

Thanks Chick, I didn't love it, and the car fought me alittle not wanting it back under. But, was the only real stand back moment I had throughout the build. Milemarker

Opinions obviously vary, but you just hit it spot on underneath. Doesn't looked "over worked". Orange is a color that just works under there. Ashgold would have looked like some kind of mess.(mine, lol) I'm one who's tipping my hat to your work.

Had a buddy in the AirForce from your neck of the woods, his dad had a beautiful pearl 55 chevy pu. This was in the mid 80's. Some nice machines were rolling around. Lots of talent down there. Also visited an early Impala grave yard.
