I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A 3917610 Z/28 INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR MY 04A BUILT 68 Z, AND SOME OF THE MANIFOLDS HAVE THE CASTING DATE, ON THE UNDERSIDE, IN CLEAR VIEW BUT SOME HAVE IT UNDER THE SPLASH PAN. ANY RIME OR REASON FOR THIS? 67 OR 68? BTW I'M LOOKING FOR A MARCH 68 DATED MANIFOLD..ANYONE?

OK, I started this post and I need some clarification on the codes. I have a 04A build 68 Z/28 and it's been stored for 40 years and somewhere along the line(during several moves) all I have is 1 'Upside down large DF non dated' wheel with the original tire still mounted...Can someone tell me if it's original to the car? When did the DF change to right side up, and the dating start? JM?

This is probably a needle in a hay stack search but has anyone bought a 68 z/28 Camaro(rally green) from Jackshaw Chevrolet or another dealer in the Cleveland Ohio area? I bought my 68 Z/28 from the first owner back in 1970 and am trying to find him, I believe he lived in the Willoughby,
Eastlake, Willowick or Mentor area.

IMO it's worth what someone is willing to pay. Anywhere from 500 to 5000. Is it a bare block, short block? Has it been magged for cracks? With that engine assembly date the VIN could be 100 units on either side of it.
