Not the one near where I live but a great pick of the James Bond switches.

Neat car, good history, surprised they built it with a base 327.
But rare does not equal valuable. If it was a BP L78 or a Z in that condition, maybe...

Quote from the article: "Fast forward to 2016 and Simonen, 75, still owns the vehicle only now it's worth maybe 100 times as much and is considered one of the rarest and most sought after Camaro’s of all time."

Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be quite a long list of "the rarest and most sought after".  ;D

That term "the rarest and most sought after" is made freely available to anyone who wants to use it ... :)

I believe chevrolet was going to use the name "Panther" for the car instead of "Camaro"

There is one close to me that I believe was an L30 M20 originally. But the owner put a 396 in it the first year. He still owns the car too. Gorries put 427's in a few of them but none have turned up. Rumors about Z28's, SS/RS being done but none of them have turned up.

I heard about that car that had the 396 in it about 15 years ago.Just wasn't sure if it was true or not.The Chevrolet dealer here in town supposedly sold 2 Black panthers back in the day. Both were small block cars.I tried to locate the car that was featured in the car magazine back in 1967 but had no luck. That car had a 427 in it and Corvette side pipes.

There was a Black Panther Z28. Craig Fisher raced it in T/A.
