Hey CRG Members,
Is it possible a 4C date Z28 would have YH wheels from the end of February? I don’t believe any of the YH wheels were produced in March? I think the end of February’s date stamp was the 26th or the 28th?
Thanks in advance for your response,

The YH/ "SS" Wheel began production in mid Dec. '68 and was cancelled Jan. 8, 1969.

You are confusing the YA ss wheel with the YH Rally wheel which is what he asked about.

I believe you would be OK. The wheels were batch run but I can't find the dates they were made. On things like this you have up to a 3 month window as a guide for judging purposes I was told.

Those are good dates for a 04C car, I think you are correct no march wheels.

My 04B VN Z spare tire YH wheel is dated K-1-9-1-10 or Jan 10 of '69. 3 months early relative to the build date - I am assuming Jan dates OK for 04B? The other wheels were replaced in the '70's, but have no reason to believe the spare was changed. I have managed to find 4 other YH wheels with Jan dates...
